   6. Processing of personal data

The website operator only collects, uses and passes on your personal data if this is permitted by law or if you consent to the collection of data.

Personal data is all information that is used to identify your person and which can be traced back to you - for example your name, email address and telephone number.

You can also visit this website without providing any personal information. In order to improve our online offer, however, we save your access data to this website (without personal reference). This access data includes, for example, the file you have requested or the name of your Internet provider. Because the data has been made anonymous, it is not possible to draw any conclusions about your person.

The processing of personal data takes place on the basis of our legitimate interest in fulfilling our contractually agreed services and optimizing our online offer.

a) Access data

The provider of the website automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us.

The following data is logged in this way:

  • Browser type and browser version

  • Operating system used

  • Referrer URL

  • Host name of the responsible computer

  • Time of server request

  • IP address

This data is collected on the basis of Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of its website. To do this, the server log files must be recorded.

The server log files are stored for a maximum of 40 days and then deleted. The data is stored for security reasons, for example to be able to clarify cases of misuse. If data has to be kept for reasons of proof, they are excluded from deletion until the incident has been finally clarified.

b) SSL or TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption.

You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.

If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data that you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

c) Cookies

Some of the websites use so-called cookies. Cookies do not damage your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted after your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when the browser is closed.

If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be restricted.

Cookies that are required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions you want (e.g. shopping cart function) are stored on the basis of Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies for the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. If a corresponding consent was requested (e.g. consent to the storage of cookies), processing takes place exclusively on the basis of Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR; the consent can be revoked at any time.

Insofar as other cookies (e.g. cookies for analyzing your surfing behavior) are stored, these are treated separately in this data protection declaration.

d) Contact requests

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

We process personal data such as first name, last name, IP address, e-mail address, place of residence, postal code and content information from the contact form.

If you contact us as the website operator through the contact options offered, your details will be saved so that they can be used to process and answer your request. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your consent.

This data is processed on the basis of Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your request is related to the fulfillment of a contract or is necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR) if this was queried.

The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory legal provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected.

e) Inquiry by e-mail, telephone or fax

If you contact us by e-mail, telephone or fax, your inquiry including all resulting personal data (name, enquiry) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of processing your request. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

This data is processed on the basis of Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your request is related to the fulfillment of a contract or is necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on your consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR) and/or on our legitimate interests (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR), since we have a legitimate interest in the effective processing of inquiries addressed to us.

The data you sent to us via contact requests will remain with us until you request deletion, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory legal provisions - in particular statutory retention periods - remain unaffected.

   7. Disclosure of Personal Information

GOR GmbH will not pass on your personal data to third parties or otherwise disseminate it, unless this is necessary for the performance of our service (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b) DSGVO). You have consented to the transfer (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a) GDPR) or the transfer of data is permitted on the basis of relevant legal provisions.

   8. Right to information, correction, deletion and restriction

You have the right to request information about your personal data stored by us at any time. When we process or use your personal information, we strive to take reasonable steps to ensure that your personal information is accurate and up-to-date for the purposes for which it was collected.

In the event that your personal data is incorrect or incomplete, you can request that this data be corrected.

Furthermore, you may have the right to request the deletion or restriction of processing of your personal data if e.g. B. there is no longer a legitimate business purpose for such processing in accordance with this data protection declaration or applicable law and statutory retention requirements that do not require further storage.

    9. Right to data portability

You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfillment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another person responsible, this will only be done to the extent that it is technically feasible.

    10. Right to withdraw your consent

Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke consent that you have already given at any time. An informal message by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing that took place up until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

   11. Right of objection according to Art. 21 Para. 1 and 2 DS-GVO

You have the right, for reasons arising from your particular situation, to object at any time to the processing of your personal data, which is based on Article 6 Paragraph 1 lit. e) or f) GDPR; this also applies to profiling based on this provision.

We do not process your personal data after an objection, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for processing that outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims (cf. Art. 21 para. 1 GDPR, so-called "limited right of objection").

In this case, you must provide reasons for the objection that arise from your particular situation.
Furthermore, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes at any time, even without giving reasons.

   12. Objecting to Promotional Emails

We hereby object to the use of contact data published as part of the imprint obligation to send unsolicited advertising and information material. The site operators expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of unsolicited advertising being sent, such as spam e-mails.

To enforce your data protection rights, you can contact us at any time using the contact options given in Section 4. In this case, please indicate the name of the website concerned and attach a corresponding identification of your person.

   13. Right of appeal to the competent supervisory authority

In the event of violations of the GDPR, those affected have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of their habitual residence, their place of work or the place of the alleged violation. The right to lodge a complaint is without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy.
